Travis Hinton Potery

Travis is at home in the studio. He is constantly creating, drawing, sculpting and envisioning new works. The artist creates both functional and sculptural works, at times melding the two.

Process

Travis creates his work using many ceramic techniques.  He uses the potters wheel and handbuilding process in the creation of his works.  

Firing

Travis fires cone 10 reduction at his home studio, as well as lowfire oxidation.  All glazes are created and mixed by the artist.  

Sculpture

Travis also creates ceramic sculpture using a variety of techniques and materails.
